But this season, The North Face turned it up a notch, heading back to their mountaineering roots with 800-fill water-repellent ProDown™, which harnesses Cloud Down technology that reduces cold spots for enhanced thermal performance and increases packability. They've kept some things the same – like the oversized baffles and recycled fabric. Down insulation is light and compressible while providing the best warmth-to-weight ratio in nature. A durable water-repellent finish provides protection from light moisture and fabric saturation.
