Recently we were treated to a night under canvas in the shadow of Blencathra by the team at Snow Peak. After a busy day in the shop, we made the stunning drive along Thirlmere and soon we were making our way through St Johns-in-the-Vale, the summer sun still high in the sky and the air uncharacteristically still.
At the campsite we were greeted by Seb and Saskia who soon put us to work chopping veg and grilling halloumi whilst giving us the lowdown on the history of Snow Peak. This was a great opportunity to get hands on experience with the range and learn about the craftsmanship and design behind the products.
Beers were opened and we settled around the Takibi Fire Pit for some Takibi Time.

Soon we were tucking into our Golden Japanese Curry with some flame grilled naan bread as the sun set over the valley. Marshmallows followed to fuel us for the most important event of the night - the tent race!
