Misty skies and minus temps?
Sounds like the perfect forecast for our Spring/Summer shoot! Nevertheless we headed out in The Lakes for a couple of days of fresh new stock and smiles all-round despite the weather.
Day one saw us tackling Pike o'Blisco Mountain for some typical lakes terrain and a beautiful view of the Langdale Valley. With wind, rain and minus temps making an appearance we had the opportunity to test out some midlayers and outerwear including our Gore Pro. Minnie the poodle was less than impressed with the technical element and took to sheltering in a multiple layering system - our store team would be impressed! For a change of pace we followed up with a hike around a classic Lake District Tarn which was pretty atmospheric in the misty, low temps.
Day two started with a pit-stop at Chester's by the river for a coffee, pastry and quick rain shower before we headed off for the scenic views of another beautiful Tarn in the Lake District.
Our shoot this season features a range of quality & technical pieces that you wouldn't be without on the ridge line along with those easy-going & solid styles that take you from the trails to the everyday adventures.
Shoot includes apparel from Arc'teryx, Norrona, Mammut, Patagonia and Rab as well as footwear from the likes of Hoka, Terrex, Scarpa and Lowa. New to us this season and featured in this campaign comes the brand Finisterre that offers sustainable, waterproof clothing for the outdoors - a great edition to The Epicentre and of course ideal for the Lake District!
Big thanks to our models for the outdoor outfit changes, boulder hopping and much enjoyed kit chat - comparing favourite pieces from brands never gets old!
